TOMBSTONE TUESDAY Jeremiah B. Clark Family, Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, New York

My handwritten notes call the cemetery “Phillipsburg Cemetery” which was nicknamed for the Phillipsburg community. It’s really known as the “Wallkill Cemetery” at 160 Midway Road, Middletown, New York. (Midway Road is also known as Cemetery Road.)

2^nd Great Grandparents Jeremiah B. Clark (1842-1908) and Harriet C. Ogden (1841-1912) are buried together with their daughters, Minnie I. and Grace L., who died as young women. Minnie’s daughter Laura Fitzgerald and husband William Swift lay in the family plot. Jeremiah and Harriet’s son, Amos Ryerson Clark also rests here with his wife Irene and their son George H. Clark.
