REPRESENTATIVE BUSINESS MEN

J.
B. was 2nd Great Grandfather Jeremiah B. Clark who had a butcher
shop in Goshen, Orange Co., New York for many years. Benjamin Reeve Clark, a
younger brother of Jeremiah, also was a dealer in meats, poultry, fish, clams
and oysters with a market on the corner of Greenwich and John Streets. The two
brothers were known as the ‘market men of Goshen’.
